I think I saw your smile today
Although you are so far away
You're dead and you've been buried in the ground
For years and years. You're not around.
Out of no where, it hit me like the cold
You're not coming back. You'll never grow old.
Then I saw him smile, and on that day
I knew you never went away.
I looked so deep into my heart
And knew you were still such a part
Of everything that moves and breathes
The sun, the sky, the gentle breeze.
The way he walked across the lawn
Was just like you and slowly it dawned
That life's a circle, round and round
Though you are buried in the ground.
